This month, my novelette An Illicit Mercy is part of the MegaGiveAway. Choose from over 150 science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal books/stories/excerpts at no cost. The majority seem to be full books.
A cursory examination shows 20-25% of the offerings are science fiction, based on their covers. They appear to lean heavily in the direction of space opera.
All of these selections are by self-published authors. The quality of the writing and editing will vary. Think of it like digging through a bargain-bin at your local used-book store. I’m sure there are some gems here. It’s just a matter of finding them. :)
