Today I’m announcing a brand new addition to my Substack publication: the Club Codex science fiction book chat.
Club Codex is a conversation space in the Substack app I have set up exclusively for my subscribers — kind of like a group chat or live hangout.
The purpose of Club Codex is to read and share our thoughts about recent award-winning science fiction novels. Each month, I’ll post a thread for a new novel, and you can jump into the discussion.
I’ll be reading as I go, posting my thoughts from time-to-time. Anyone is welcome to join, whether you are also reading along with the group, have already read the novel, or have questions for those of us who are reading/have read the book.
I will begin each thread with a rough guide to which chapters I plan to cover each week. If you like to read ahead, please restrict your comments to the current selection and those we’ve already covered. Be aware that there will be spoilers for each section of the book as we get to it.
I’ll post the first book discussion thread in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, jump into Club Codex and introduce yourself in the welcome thread!
